“Yellowstone’s” subsequent origin story is getting some main star energy.
Paramount+ introduced Tuesday that Oscar winner Helen Mirren and Academy Award nominee Harrison Ford will star in “Yellowstone’s” prequel sequence, “1932.”
The information comes after the success of one other prequel, “1883.”
“Yellowstone,” which follows the lives and drama of the Dutton household, house owners of the most important ranch in Montana, has been a large hit for Paramount+ and stars one other film star, Kevin Costner.
“1883” stars real-life spouses Tim McGraw and Religion Hill, together with Sam Elliott. It tells the story of how the household got here to personal Yellowstone ranch.
The brand new sequence “will introduce a brand new era of the Dutton household and discover the early twentieth century when pandemics, historic drought, the tip of Prohibition, and the Nice Melancholy all plague the mountain west, and the Duttons who name it dwelling,” in response to a press launch.
“1932” is ready to premiere in December.
